#41 Throw Away - Every Day


Spring means Spring-Cleaning around our house, and that means much more than just sweeping and cleaning - it means tackling the clutter. 

Here is an easy way to help you accomplish your de-cluttering goals while making it easy on yourself, taking it one step at a time.

Each day think of and write down three things that you will either:  throw out/recycle or give away/donate.  Then take it a step further, and physically put those things aside in a specific location.  What is great about de-cluttering this way on a daily basis is that:  (a) you see the difference immediately once you begin removing  a few items each day,and (b) you can look at your list and see the progress you've made.  This method also allows you to build up a your "give away" pile, for instance, so that you are not making many trips to the thrift store.  Convenience, efficiency and tangible progress - that does not exhaust you - is the way to go!
