Steep away that nasty cold by steaming with invigorating mint, soothing chamomile or tantalizing jasmine.
Really it is simple. No need to go out and buy a facial steamer (I have one and it sits collecting dust, b/c by the time you get the cups, tray and the entire apparatus put together you're too tired to steam), as long as you have a pot and stove.
Grab a towel, and put a pot of water on the stove to boil (or use your kettle and poor the water into a bowl). Pick some fresh mint leaves (if you are lucky enough to have some at hand), if not no worries, a mint tea bag will do the trick just fine. Put the tea bag into the boiling water and let it steep. Remove the pot from the stove - and now the fun part: drape a towel over your head, lean over the fragrant water, and breathe deeply. Let the heat and steam permeate your nasal passages, while opening your pores and renewing your skin. Feel your skin immediately freshen as your pores open and are cleansed.
Ahhhhh, now you will breathe easier. This tea steeper tip stimulates your skin and counters your cold. Enjoy!
