# 7 His and Hers Nursing Pillows

Why does hubby need a nursing pillow???? Well I will tell you why, because he was taking over mine!

My Mom gave me the most comfy pillow ever when our son was born in 2009. My nursing pillow became a sought after item in our bed after it was used for it's intended purpose. I always had a good night sleep with my head comfortably cradled in the centre of its "U". After my dear hubby tried it, he also had a great night's sleep and before I knew it it was our first marital (nursing) pillow fight.

When our four year anniversary rolled around this year calling for "linens", I thought AHA what better gift than the gift of sleep, the gift of cuddly comfort? Off to one of one of my favourite mom/baby stores I went, Bellies In Bloom.

The sales woman there suggested a lovely pink pillow or....it was then that I awkwardly interjected that the pillow was actually NOT a gift for me or a new or expectant mom, rather it was a gift for my husband. Luck would have it that there in the corner was a single black pillow, looking kind of lonely in need of a manly home. Besides, I thought, it would go perfectly with my white pillow - kind of a ying yang affect.

I had other errands to run, so I had to put the Posh N'Plush nursing pillow on hold and then come back. When I returned there it was with a note stating it's status "For Husband's Anniversary Gift" - the ladies in the store had a chuckle while contemplating the practicality of it.

My husband, loved it! (I must admit though, at first I didn't disclose what "type" of pillow it was, in the end though it didn't matter). Our ying yang pillows were perfect.

So tip # 7 - A good night's sleep for him makes a good night's sleep for you!
