#50 Warm Your Hands Up - Turn Your Stress Down






When you are feeling overwhelmed with stress, anxiety, and/or even fear - warm your hands.  You see, when these emotions overcome you your nervous system, in response to the instinctual flight or fight syndrome, directs blood flow to the largest muscle groups in your body, thus leaving your hands cold.  The neat thing is that you can reverse this by warming your hands.  When you do this it sends a signal to your nervous system that everything is alright.  The result?  A return of calm.

If you can't warm your hands, try visualizing them warming up.
